Senior Vice President of Business Planning and Performance
Todd Maxwell is the Senior Vice President of Business Planning and Performance at AIM Specialty Health® (AIM), offering over twenty years’ experience delivering growth and profitability for health plan clients. Responsible for long-term strategic planning and the development of growth-oriented business plans, Todd helps bring to market new and innovative solutions to ensure appropriate, safe, affordable care. In addition, he provides executive leadership for Applied Pathways, a subsidiary of AIM.
Prior to joining AIM, he spent nine years at UnitedHealth Group and Optum, one of its divisions, most recently as Vice President of Strategy and Market Development. There he led a variety of functions including strategic planning, enterprise risk management, and a wide range of internal management and internal consulting engagements. Before Optum, he managed early-stage investing for a Chicago-based venture capital fund and was a consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where he focused on merger and acquisition advisory services and growth-focused corporate strategies for US and international firms.
Todd holds a Master of Business Administration from the Booth School of Business at the University of Chicago as well as a Master of Arts in International Relations, also from the University of Chicago. He earned a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University.
