Jordan S. Firfer
Vice President and General Manager, Consumer Engagement
Jordan S. Firfer is the Vice President and General Manager of Consumer Engagement at AIM Specialty Health® (AIM). In his role, Jordan leads the organization's consumer engagement strategy and products, such as Specialty Care ShopperSM. He also directs its cross-solution business efforts specific to provider and member profiles and data.
Jordan has more than 25 years of experience in health care, with expertise in consumer experience, product and data management, and health plan operations. Before joining AIM in 2017, Jordan was the vice president of product strategy at LaunchPoint Corporation. There, he directed the development of a population health risk-adjustment platform to ensure optimal health plan reimbursement from government agencies based on positive treatment outcomes of patients with chronic diseases.
Prior to LaunchPoint, Jordan worked at Florida Blue, serving first as a senior director of provider connectivity solutions and later as senior director of enterprise information management. During his tenure at the Blue Cross Blue Shield affiliate, Jordan designed a master data management strategy that integrated new clinical data; he also managed technology that ensured smooth, secure integration with third-party vendors, with a special focus on transparency tools and business intelligence that enrich the patient-provider interaction. In addition to LaunchPoint and Florida Blue, Jordan has held the roles of director of regulatory compliance at HCSC, director of product management at WebMD, and special master at Deloitte Consulting, where he was responsible for integrating platform technologies for health care companies and state health information exchanges after corporate mergers.
Active in the nonprofit sector, Jordan served as the chair, foundation president, and board member at the National Dental EDI Council. He has also held leadership roles at the Healthcare Information and Management Systems Society, Workgroup for Electronic Data Interchange, National Association of Dental Plans, and America's Health Insurance Plan (AHIP). He was a governor-appointed member of the Florida Agency for Health Care Administration's Health Information Exchange.
Jordan received his law degree from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago and his bachelor's degree in political science, communications, and technology from DePaul University. He earned a certified health insurance executive designation from AHIP. Jordan holds several patents for securing electronic data interchange of critical data.
